Satellite image showing the latest class of Indian Navy's [IN] Offshore Patrol Vessel [OPV] all at one place.
These indigenously designed class of ships would join the existing Sukanya-class of vessels that the IN has been operating since the late 80s. Orders for 4 have been placed so far, with the flagship vessel, INS Saryu [P54], getting commissioned on January 21 2013. These warships are being built at the state-owned Goa Shipyard Limited [GSL].
