The PAK-FA giving flight demonstrations during the 100 year celebrations
The aircrafts have been rehearsing for their performances during celebrations to commemorate 100 years of the Russian Air Force [including their earlier term of reference] at the Zhukovsky Air Show on August 11th & 12th.
The Indian Air Force [IAF] Chief, who is currently in Russia on an official visit, would also be witness to the festivities. Besides this, he is also expected to receive an update on developments plans of the T-50 PAK-FA, in which India too is a partner, especially for building a twin-seat variant of the aircraft, customised to IAF requirements, currently referred to as the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft [FGFA]. In addition, the Indo-Russian joint venture to develop a Multirole Transport Aircraft [MTA] too has been stated to come up for discussion. A visit of great significance.
Godspeed
