Indian Air force [IAF], with its contingent of Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighters, Ilyushin Il-76 Transporter & Il-78 Tanker aircraft, took part in this Indo-British Air Exercise, some time back.
Dongyi Liu's Flickr account contains a nice collection of pictures of these Russo-Soviet Ilyushin-built Transport aircraft, & its derivative, the Uzbek-made refueller, which the IAF operates. As part of the bilateral 'Exercise Indradhanush' series between the 2, IAF, in 2007, deployed

- 2 Il-78 MKIs - [RK-3451 & RK-3452]
- 6 Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter aircrafts - [SB 041, SB042, SB 043, SB 044, SB 103 & SB 107]
- 50 personals
