INS Sindhurakshak - Indian Navy's Kilo-Class Submarine Visiting Malyasia

Indian Navy Submarine, INS Sindhurakshak [S63], making a port call to Malaysia.

As far as I can tell, the Kilo-Class [called Sindhughosh-Class in India] had visited the country in 2007. Unaware of any current or recently scheduled visit. Dropped in a comment, seeking clarification. Photograph shot in HDR, I believe - don't recollect having come across such photos before. The boat is presently undergoing an upgrade programme in Russia. Sea trials have commenced and it is expected to be back in India by the end of this year.

This year, in June, four Indian warships made port calls to Malaysia as part of their goodwill trip to East & South-East Asian countries. They included Shivalik-Class Frigate INS Shivalik [F47], Rajput-Class Destroyer INS Rana [D52], Deepak-Class Fleet Tanker INS Shakti [A57] & Kora-Class Corvette INS Karmuk [P64]. India is also to begin operating 6 Scorpène-Class Submarine, starting 2015, that Malaysia presently operates [2 in number].
