Industrial Automation solution provider Omron is offering for free, an online courseware, introducing one to the concept of factory automation, using their products as examples for explaining the topic. Fair enough, I'd say. Everybody benefits. Did a quick browse through their course material. Well-written, neatly explained & has an easy-to-use, intuitive interface. If you want to start learning about Industrial Automation, this courseware could actually be a good starting point.
Especially helpful it could be for undergraduate students of Engineering, who can incorporate this study material in to their normal, prescribed curricula. Learning from the real-life implementation of the theoretical concepts they studying would play a positive role in raising their awareness.
